I love all the differentiation. Used for test-based vocab words as morning work. My kids loving looking for words in the dictionary or online. Even if they hear a word repeated later, they will say, "That was our word of the day!".

Simple resource to use for our word of the day everyday
My third grades had to sound out the word (finger stretch) and count the phonemes and then write the word. Breaking the words into it's parts was a great way to work on our word of the day with our reading program.
