Olympic Games Maths Activity | Australian Athletes | Years 5-6

This is the PERFECT Maths warmup, investigation, revision or fast finisher task to complete during the 2024 Olympic Games. Your students will love solving each 'Who am I' while practising their maths skills and knowledge.

This pack is designed to use as:

• Maths lessons/rotations
• Maths warm-ups or
• Fast finishing activities.

Each worksheet includes a range of number, measurement and geometry questions suitable for students in Years 5 & 6 to help them solve the ‘Who am I?’ athlete (most questions are revision for quick recall).

Each sheet includes a range of mathematical symbols and vocabulary to assist students in practicing their number skills and knowledge.

Differentiation:

This pack is designed to cater for a range of learners in the classroom. Some questions are more difficult than others (not every question needs to be answered to solve the “Who am I”).

How this pack works:

There are 10 ‘Who am I’ worksheets in the pack. Each sheet has 11 questions related to an Australian Athlete attending the 2024 Olympic Games. Students complete the worksheet and then match the information to the ‘Athlete Table’ in order to solve the ‘Who am I.’

A teacher answer guide has also been included.
