St Patrick's Day Pack | Years 1-2

This pack is designed to use during the month of March and/or on St Patrick’s Day to teach students about St Patrick and his life as well as some of the fun symbols and ideas based on the Irish National holiday.

Tasks range from Literacy to Numeracy to Creative Thinking tasks. The story of St Patrick could be used as a high level guided reading text or as a shared reading text followed by the comprehension activities (use both options for differentiation or opportunity for student choice). The maths tasks can be differentiated by choosing BLM’s according to your students' needs.

All tasks are designed to work as components of Literacy and Numeracy rotations, as a whole class or as individual tasks the students choose according to their personal learning styles and preferences.
