Halloween Addition & Subtraction Chatterboxes (Grades 1-2)

These were a fun resource to use for skill review!

Students loved making these cootie catchers. The first round of making them was a challenge but the second time they successfully made them and played with them for quite a while.

The nostalgia is real! The class had so much fun playing and creating their own chatterbox! Thank you!

I purchased this resource with the idea of using it for math centers in class but realized I could send them home with the kids as a fun way to practice math fluency. Oh my goodness the kids were so excited to see them in their mailboxes! Since we had already used some of the chatterboxes in class before, the kids remembered how to fold them, so I didn't have to worry about sending them home and the kids not knowing what to do with them. The next day, I had so many students report to me that they played with all members of their families and were even using them to help their younger siblings with math! Thank you for this resource- it has helped my students in ways I couldn't have even imagined!
