This has been a great resource to practice math skills in a game format.
My student beg to play these games! Having all 4 operations makes it easy to differentiate and have students practice the skills they need.
Love that it includes many operations. Students love this!!
My students enjoyed these fun games to practice their math skills.
This allowed all of my students to have fun while practicing their multiplication facts.
This product worked great in my class. I will be using it again. Thanks for the great resource!
We realized with our 1st math unit that our 4th graders don't have good number sense and need practice with their basic facts. This resource will give them some much-needed (and fun) practice to do just that!
This Dots and Boxes BUNDLE includes Add, Subtract, Multiply, Divide activities that I used to reinforce math skills with my students that need support at their level. Thank you!
My students were very excited to play these games.
This is a great resource and easy to use. The students love it.
Fantastic resource! It was easy to use, well organized, and saved me so much prep time.
Can't wait to use this with my students when school begins, engaging games for fast finishers
This is a great resource for math review. My students loved doing it.
My students love to play games, and *I* love how easy and fun these games are. They set up so well in centers, and slipped inside a page protector, I can use them over and over again with dry erase markers. Excellent and EASY way to practice skills.
Students responded well in my special education resource room to this product. Always fun to make a game out of extra practice!
Used this for conceptual practice and review-highly recommend!
These games are great for independent math stations.
These are probably the most well used games in my classroom. My students love playing them and also playing with me too. A great way for reinforcement.
This resource was a fantastic addition to my classroom! It was easy to implement, well organized, and kept my students engaged from start to finish. The activities encouraged meaningful participation, and my students were excited to be involved throughout the lesson.
I love all the options available in this resource. These activities are great for fact fluency practice.
These games make a good math center. My students know the game and the process.
My students loved doing these with their Grade 7 buddies in math!
Fantastic Resouces. My students really enjoy playing with them during Math Stations.
Love these for kids to practise their skills. Kids love playing them
This bundle is fantastic! The addition and subtraction is perfect for my 1st grader and also fun practice for my 5th and 3rd grader. The multiplication and division are great for my older 2. We had been struggling with memorizing the multiplication facts and now that is getting so much easier thru game play.
My students enjoy playing this. It's a good way to practice math facts.
This is such a good resource! Easy to print and use with students. Thank you!
I appreciated that this product was open ended and not another worksheet. My kids liked the element of surprise with this and had to work hard to solve the equations.
I bought this for my own kids. I printed the pages and stuck them in binders to put in the car. I keep an Uno deck and playing cards in the car, and they can play on long road trips or while we are waiting.
I don’t know what it is about dots and boxes, but my students love to play this game! It’s fun to listen as they figure out strategies to help them be the last to make the box.
I got this mostly for the addition and subtraction games and I'm bummed that some of the game sheets don't work with a deck of cards. For example, on the +1 mat for addition using a deck of card my students have the numbers 2-9. They flip over a card, add 1 and then get to draw a line. But there are boxes with the numbers 1 and 2. You can only get a 1 or 2 if you have Uno cards that have the numbers 0 and 1 in them. My students were disappointed they had boxes with the numbers 1 and 2 in them that they couldn't get using our playing cards. The smallest number they could get was 3 (2 + 1). Same is true on the multiplication mat x2, as another example. There are boxes with the numbers 0 and 1 but using our deck of cards the students lowest card number is 2 so you can't get those numbers. There are other mats that you need cards with the numbers 0 and 1.
Not a total loss because some of the mats still work, but if they had said you need Uno cards to use all the mats I would not have purchased. So, if you have decks of Uno cards I think your students will enjoy this game. If you only have playing cards maybe wait until you have Uno cards.
Thank you so much for sharing your feedback Nicole. We really appreciate you taking the time. You’re absolutely right that some mats rely on access to 0 and 1, which are included in UNO decks but not in standard playing cards (where the Ace represents 1). We do mention this in the resource, but your feedback is a helpful reminder that we can make this clearer upfront. We’re glad some of the mats were still useful, and we’re sorry for the disappointment around the others. Thanks again for your thoughtful and honest feedback.
